WHY SHOULD I SUPPORT FLORES FRUIT FARM?
If you support farmers with good growing practices and small vegan businesses that support their local community, then this is the right choice for you. We are more than just a company, we are part of movement of people inspiring the world to make healthier food choices.
IS THE FRUIT ORGANIC?
Our farm is less than 5 acres so paying for organic certification is not feasible.
fruits that aren't certified are unsprayed and pesticide free. We ensure that the practices used on our farm is safe and sustainable. We harvest all of these fruits ourselves and we ensure that they are not sprayed with pesticides.
HOW DO I FIND OUT WHEN A FRUIT IS IN SEASON?
Since some fruits ripen multiple times of the year, and environmental factors may determine a fruit's season and availability, it is hard to create a precise guide, so please check out our most up-to date what's in season list of everyblog post and sign up for our email newsletter to get what's in season lists sent right to your inbox.
CAN I PICK UP FRUIT?
Yes, we are available during normal business hours. You must make an appointment prior to arriving at the farm.
The best thing to do is to order from our website and have fruit delivered to your door.
WHY IS FLORES FRUIT SO EXPENSIVE?
We specialize in growing, sourcing, and shipping rare fruits that are not easy to find. A lot of the fruit we offer is grown very small scale and harvested by us. Land, labor, and shipping materials are considered when creating our prices. Our profits are used to reinvest into our farm so that we can grow more epic fruits!
Although our online community is big, this is a very small business with a limited amount of land and resources. We are not growing monocrops on thousands of acres of cheap land. We have a small supply of certain popular fruits compared to their demand.

Please include your order number and photographs of your order for our Customer Support Team to best assist you.
Please allow up to 1-3 business days for a response.
We are not able to assist with order related questions on social media.
We are able to respond to every email, but please be patient and allow time for a thorough response. We respond to all emails in order of when they were sent. Sending multiple emails will not increase the speed of a response.

HOW CAN I PLACE AN ORDER FOR A SPECIFIC DATE?
Overall, it is important to know that we do fulfill all orders on a first come first serve basis. Ordering on the earlier side is always better!
Whenever you place an order for an in season fruit, we ask that you allow up to 1-2 weeks for your order to ship, as our harvest varies greatly from week to week and we fulfill all orders on a first come, first serve basis.
We ship fresh fruit out on Monday- Thursday, so when your order is received is dependent on that as well.
Anytime you need an order to ship on a specific date, we suggest placing your order at least 3 weeks ahead of time and leaving a note on your order in the "Add a note for the seller" section at checkout with the date you would like it to ship and we will try our best to accommodate based on what we have available, and your place in line. For example:
" this order is for a party on May 19th- please send this box on Monday, May 17th! Thank you"
You will always receive an email when a shipping label has been printed by our shipping team in preparation for your order to ship, and you can know that your order is in transit when you see actual movement on the tracking information.
CAN I PICK MY OWN FRUIT FROM THE TREES?
Due to liability concerns we do not allow picking fruit from the trees or for individuals to wander unspervised on the grounds.
DOES FLORES FRUIT OFFER WHOLESALE ORDERING?
We do sell Bulk Boxes for many of our products on our website. At this time we do only offer wholesale orders for 1000 pounds of fruit or more and we would expect you to have your own transportation set up.

HOW MUCH FRUIT WILL BE RECEIVED BASED ON THE WEIGHT RANGE?
The weight of fruit may be different due to packaging requirements, insulation or breathability requirements, transit time, temperature/weather/climate, shipping cost, and ever changing carrier rates and contracts.
Flores Fruit Farm customers should always expect the lowest range of the weight range but higher weights are possible given fluctuating variables mentioned above.
HOW MANY FRUITS COME IN THE BOX?
We do not know the exact number of fruits that will come in your box because size and shape varies, but we always try our best to pack the box as full as possible. Each box is weighed to make sure it fits the shipping estimates of each size in the product description of every fruit box. Please make sure to read the entire product description before ordering. You can also click through the photos to see an idea of the size of each box.
CAN I PICK THE FRUITS IN MY VARIETY BOX/ MAKE A CUSTOM BOX?
For Variety Boxes You can certainly request the fruits you would like in the notes section, and we will always try our best to accommodate you as much as possible, but we cannot guarantee that all requests can be fulfilled; as our harvests vary greatly from week to week, and we do fulfill all orders on a first come first serve basis.
Unfortunately we cannot create custom boxes. Because we only harvest fruits at their optimal ripeness, we just don’t have every kind of fruit ready each week. Also many of our fruits are rare and limited, and are harvested at different times throughout the year.
**To guarantee you receive a particular fruit, you will need to order it separately.**
What about perishable fruits like soursop, sugar apple, cherimoya, and sprouted coconut?
These fruits must be picked up next day because they are fragile and close to tree ripened so if you’d like them, please make sure make arrangments to pick up and leave a note asking for perishable fruits and we will include them if they are available.
WHY IS MY FAVORITE FRUIT SOLD OUT OR ON PRE-ORDER?
Your favorite fruit may either be high in demand, or out of season-
Many out of stock fruits can be Pre-Ordered. When you buy a Pre-Order box of fruit, your purchase will be prioritized and shipped in the order it was placed.

WHAT ARE THE HOURS OF OPERATION?
The farm is open daily from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Excluding certain holidays. Check our calender of events for operational days.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY VISIT?
Place your oder in advance and schedule your appointment for pick up. We do not offer credit so be prepared to pay for your order upon pick up.
If you are ordering in advance for a bulk purchase, payment is expected in advance. You must also arrange for your own pick up.
IS THERE A CHARGE FOR PARKING?
There is no fee for parcking, however -parking is limited. Be sure to call and schedule an appointment.
IS THE FARM ACCESSIBLE FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES?
The driving area is accessible as is the home area. Visitos should understand this is a farm with natural ground cover.
CAN I USE THE RESTROOM FACILITIES WHILE VISITING THE FARM?
The home on the farm property is a private residence that is used by the owners and their relatives. In order to ensure the family's privacy and safety visitors are not allowed access to the home or any of its private facilities.
DOES FLORES FRUIT OFFER FARM TOURS?
Out of respect for our neighbor's privacy, our farm is not open to the public at this time.

WHY ARE NEW NEWSLETTERS BEING POSTED, BUT I HAVEN'T RECEIVED A RESPONSE TO MY EMAIL YET?
Our social media and email newsletters are often scheduled a week in advance.
I DON'T LIKE THE FRUIT, CAN I GET A REFUND?
No. Please thoroughly read our refund policy before ordering.
WHAT IS YOUR ORDER CANCELATION POLICY?
A $10 cancellation fee will be applied to any pre-order that is cancelled by the customer.
WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?
Due to the perishability of our products, Flores Fruit Farm does not accept Returns for health, safety, and logistical reasons. We do however, offer Refunds/Store Credits and Replacements for many reasons listed below.
Anytime you have an issue with an order, we do ask that you send us photos to our email on the date that your box is delivered. We ask that these pictures are clear, well lit, and document any issues of concern if you encounter any of the following issues:
Damaged fruit
Late Delivery or improper handling caused by UPS resulting in spoilage or damage.
If your box arrives damaged, please send us clear photos of all fruits that arrived damaged immediately upon recognizing this, so we can best assist you further. We may ask for further information such as the time-stamps of your photos, how long your box was outside before collection, or the percent of fruit damaged.
Ripening Issues: If there is a ripening issue please send us photos immediately upon recognizing this, so we can best assist you further.
Weight Discrepancy: If there is a weight discrepancy with your order, please send us photos of all of your fruit on a produce scale the same day your order is delivered.
We reserve the right to no refund/returns.
Ideally we will reimburse or partially reimburse the order for store credit or issue a partial refund if any of the above issues occur. Reimbursement is given under the discretion of Miami Fruit Farm and decided based on the evidence provided by the customer.
CAN I RETURN FRUIT?
Due to health, safety, and logistical reasons, we do not accept returns.
