A medium-sized papaya (approximately 275 grams) contains about:
- 119 calories.
- 1.3 grams of protein.
- 30 grams of carbohydrates.
- Less than 1 gram of fat.
- 4.7 grams of dietary fiber.
- 21.58 grams of sugar.
The total weight of the box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit:
- Large Box contains up to 8-10 pounds.
- Extra Large Box contains up to 16-20 pounds.
- Bulk Box contains up to 34-40 pounds.Due to the perishability of our fresh products, Flores Fruits does not accept returns for health, safety, and logistical reasons. We do, however, offer store credits, replacements, or refunds for many reasons listed below. Returns or exchanges for non-produce items are listed below. Please review our Policy below to see if your situation is eligible.
FRESH PRODUCE ITEMS
At this time sales of our fruits are pickup only and therefore fruits sold are not refunded. Select your choice of product at the time of sale and check your order before leaving the premises. Your order will be boxed and you will be given the opportunity to inspect your order before it is closed for sale. Please let the salesperson know of any changes you may need to make at the time of purchase.
PRE-ORDER CANCELLATIONS:
A $10 cancellation fee will be applied to any pre-order that is canceled by the customer. This will be seen as a partial refund (product total minus $10) after the customer lets our team know they want to cancel their pre-order.
ORDERING PROCESS
Ordering Terms and Conditions
Payments are due at the time of order. However, orders may be placed over the phone or by email. In this event, payments are due over the phone or email at the time of order.
We have the right to refuse to place any orders.
Order Changes / Cancellations
Flores Fruits will make every effort, upon your request, to change or cancel your order. If the order has reached the pre-production setup phase, there may be higher cancellation or change charges that apply. All these charges will be a direct pass-through from Flores Fruits to you.
For any changes to the orders, you must call within 6 hours of placing the order with the correction. Also, any cancellations of orders should be made within 6 hours of placing the order. Changes and cancelations must also be concluded before the closing of business hours and may not be left by email or messages.
There will be cancellation fees of $5 for any order less than $20.
A $10.00 cancellation fee will be applied to cancel an order, given that they are canceled before going into production otherwise other charges may apply.
When placing an online order, if you press 'SUBMIT' more than once your order may get duplicated. Once you inform us of any such duplicate charges, we will promptly credit the amount back to you if the order has not proceeded to production. By placing an order online, the customer is giving Flores Fruits permission to charge the credit card they provide. When a phone order is approved via the automated email system the customer also gives Flores Fruits permission to charge the credit card. By agreeing to this policy, the customer cannot charge back the amount of the order to avoid payment.
We do not make any changes when the order is in production.
If for any reason changes need to be made then that will incur extra costs for the portion of products already completed. Our fruits are hand harvested from the trees directly to our customer orders. Canceling an order means that we incur work and place the fruit to be spoiled sooner off the vines.Refunds
Refunds due to customer errors will not be issued outside of the outlined policies.
The production cost is not refundable.
Customers will have an allotted time for pick-up. If they miss their window of pickup they will be charged for the product. Refunds will not be issued for customers who do not pick up their orders within their agreed-upon time of pick-up. Harvested items are meant to be sold at their freshest when picked.
We cannot duplicate orders 100% due to fruit variations in color, weight, and size. However, we will try to make the order as close as possible.
For rush orders, we can only wait a maximum of 6 hours for approval or changes. If no response is received, then we will start production on the order as placed to match invoice details and no future complaints will be accepted.
It is the customer’s responsibility to follow up on the digital proof as soon as the order has been placed. This will ensure proper communication and placement of the customer’s order.
We do not entertain abusive language in emails or profanity of any kind.
Production
Production time varies from 1 business day to 7 business days depending on the product, service, and quantity selected. These will vary depending on the fruit season and ripening. If you have a pre-order, it will be served on a first come first serve basis. If you have a deadline, be sure to place your order with sufficient time to meet your demand.
Ultimately customers are responsible to verify all details on the invoice such as an address, Billing address, phone number, email address, product selection, etc.
We consider pickup and production time from the date of approval. Weekends are not counted in pickup days. The in-hand pick-up date may change automatically without notice depending upon the approval of the proof.
If any order is placed by our company sales rep, they will not be held responsible for any errors as we provide our customer with order Receipts, Digital proof if those options are not utilized by the customer, they will be held liable on the account.
Any order that is not picked up during the window of agreement and is abandoned at our facility after its designated agreed time of pickup date and time will not be our responsibility and will be discarded.
Standard Processing:
Please note if the order is not approved or no update or communication is received within 48 hours of placing the order then it will go into production as placed and it will be subject to all the terms of Flores Fruit order processing, refunds, and policy exchanges.
